THE VOICE OF OUR MEMBERS
I joined York Musical Theatre Company in 2022 for their production of Jekyll & Hyde, playing Lady Savage. It was my first musical in York, and I’m so glad I gave it a go – the friendships and fun convinced me to join the choir and help backstage on Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (confetti cannon duty was a blast!). I returned as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, which was a privilege to be part of – especially working with such talented adults and children, and wearing a truly stunning costume. Though I’m not in Sister Act, I’ll be proudly supporting from the audience. York Musical Theatre Company is warm, welcoming, and full of heart.
