We’d also like to take a moment to share some heartwarming news that truly touched our hearts. In December, some of our talented members had the privilege of performing at Tesco Askham Bar to raise funds for OSCAR’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity. It was an incredible experience to see our community come together for such a meaningful cause.
We were overjoyed to learn that our singing contributed to raising a portion of the £700 collected over two Sundays. This money will go directly toward supporting children in need, including Tilly, who benefits from mental health support and swimming lessons, three-year-old Rosie, who now has the ability to balance on a bar thanks to gym sessions funded by this charity, and young George, who has received essential physiotherapy.
We’re deeply honoured to have played a small part in supporting this vital work, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to watch, donate, and show their support. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of these children.
